Cornwall Community Foundation recently underwent an external audit of its policies and procedures and successfully met the standards of the UKCF Quality Accreditation!

Get into the festive spirit with this year’s Cornwall Christmas Fair at the Eden Project on the 10th and 11th of November, all in aid of Cornwall Community Foundation.

We are welcoming applications to a new funding programme in partnership with Cornwall Council, from their Contained Outbreak Management Fund. Applicants eligible for funding include not-for-profit small to medium-sized community groups or social enterprises.

The Caledonia Investments Charitable Foundation, established by Caledonia Investments plc, has created a new grant fund to support financial planning, debt management and financial education in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Headstart Kernow recently held a grants panel for The Young People’s Mental Wellbeing Legacy Fund, awarding grants totalling more than £67,000 to nineteen community projects around the county. The members of the grant panel were young people.

Cornwall’s most vibrant and popular Christmas Fair returns to the Eden Project after a year’s break this November. In an exciting first, renowned Cornish potter and artist Paul Jackson has generously designed the limited edition jute shopping bag for the 2021 Fair, sponsored by Lillicrap Chilcott.

The Headland Hotel Community Fund, supported by donations by the hotel’s guests, is welcoming applications by 8th October for its next funding round. The Fund is open to community groups in and around Newquay who are working to address immediate crisis relief and offering mental health and well-being provision.

Cornwall’s Social Enterprise Fund, launched in April thanks to the support of the Harrison family, has awarded grants totaling £78,000 to six community interest companies in Cornwall. Read how Cognition Learning at Bude and The Old Ship Inn are using their grants.
