Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Surviving Winter Fund awarded over £36,000 to community groups supporting people at most risk from the effects of winter.

GWR donation supports mental health and wellbeing of young people in Cornwall


The Headstart Kernow Young People’s Mental Wellbeing Legacy Fund that we run in partnership with Headstart Kernow receives an additional £20,000 donation from Great Western Railway.

Thank you to The CHAOS Collective for raising £10,000 for families in Cornwall through their Christmas Single, Feed Cornwall.


Food poverty is a huge issue across Cornwall, impacting many people’s lives, this issue has only worsened since the pandemic. We are extremely grateful to The CHAOS Group and Collective who have lifted spirits and raised vital funds which will benefit so many people through their Christmas Single, Feed Cornwall.

Foundation launches new grant fund to support social enterprises in Cornwall


Thanks to the generosity of the Harrison family, Cornwall’s Social Enterprise Fund is up and running and welcoming applications. The fund supports social enterprises in both start-up and step-up phases. The programme is designed to be flexible to offer support to grow business and increase employment in the exciting social enterprise sector.

The Papillion fund awards £3,400 to four groups within St Thomas and the South Petherwin area.


The Papillion Fund, managed by Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF), provides grants to community groups and charities in St Thomas and South Petherwin area. At its recent virtual grant panel, the Fund awarded more than £3,400 to four groups.  

Sponsors support Cornish communities with online event


The Cornwall Club welcomed more than 200 guests to a virtual reception to showcase the support the Foundation has provided to Cornwall in the pandemic and highlight the challenges that remain for many people. Monique Collins (DISC Newquay) & Alan Milliner (White Gold) shared their experiences while Nathan Outlaw gave a taste of Cornwall with a Cornish dish.
