Cornish Lithium Community Fund open for new applications to support more communities


Cornish Lithium, the pioneering mineral exploration company based in Penryn, that is supporting the UK’s transition to Net Zero, is inviting new applications for grants from its Community Fund in partnership with Cornwall Community Foundation.

Cornish communities to receive £80,000 funding support for care leavers thanks to new philanthropic initiative.


The Care Leavers Programme is a new philanthropic initiative with a primary focus of improving the life chances of care leavers through decentralised funding across 17 regions in England. UKCF have awarded £40,000 to Cornwall which CCF which has been able to match fund thanks to the Sedel-Collings Foundation and Cornwall Council, which brings the total amount available for care leavers across Cornwall to £80,000.

Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum and the Integrated Care Board’s Health Improvement Fund injects £645,000 into Cornish Communities


The VCSE Health Improvement Fund has supported 68 voluntary organisations across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with a total investment of £645,000 via the CCF.  The VCSE Health Improvement Fund forms part of the broader NHS Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board funding being led & managed by Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum.
