On Thursday 7th March, Cornwall Women’s Fund held an event in partnership with Take Point Training to celebrate and inspire the Women of Cornwall for International Women’s Day.

Cornish Lithium, the pioneering mineral exploration and development company that is supporting the UK’s transition to Net Zero, has awarded £17,775 to 13 local organisations through the Community Fund it has established in collaboration with the Cornwall Community Foundation.

Last November the Cornwall Christmas Fair, kindly hosted by the Eden Project, raised a record-breaking £79,500 for the Cornwall Community Foundation. These funds have now been distributed to various voluntary organisations across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly who are working tirelessly to improve lives and make the Duchy a wonderful place for all.

Since 2022, the teams at The Greenbank Hotel in Falmouth and The Alverton in Truro have been fundraising for Cornwall Community Foundation, pledging to support the charity’s mission to help front-line, volunteer-led organisations making positive impacts in local areas around the county.

Thanks to recent funding from The Chief Constable’s Fund, Cornwall Community Foundation has awarded a grant of £2,000 to the Devon and Cornwall Community Watch Association (DaCCWA) Feel Safe Scheme to help vulnerable people across Cornwall feel safer in their homes.

This year’s sell-out Cornwall Christmas Fair raised a record-breaking £79,500, smashing through the £1 million total since the Fair began. The critical funds will help change lives across Cornwall by supporting community and grassroots non-profit organisations through Cornwall Community Foundation.

We are over the moon to have reached this incredible all-time record for CCF and are thrilled to announce that we have awarded over £2,700,000 to hundreds of local organisations, charities and community groups so far this year alone.

The Police & Crime Commissioner’s Fund is open for applications. This Fund focuses on projects related to anti-social behaviour, drugs and victims of crime.

Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) are appealing to anyone who receives the Winter Fuel Payment or will receive the new Pensioner Cost of Living Payment, but does not need some or all of it, to donate the payment to the CCF Surviving Winter appeal.
