Cornwall Community Foundation attends Garden Party to celebrate 70th Anniversary of HRH The Duke of Cornwall


We were honoured to be invited to attend the Garden Party at Boconnoc Estate in Lostwithiel to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the 70th Anniversary of HRH the Prince of Wales becoming the Duke of Cornwall. It was lovely to see so many community projects that have been supported by the Foundation and recipients of the Young & Talented Cornwall Fund.

Chartered financial planning firm Watson French joins CCF Business Club


We are delighted to welcome Truro-based trusted financial planners Watson French to the CCF Business Club. Watson French joins other businesses to support the Business Club’s grant-making to community groups making a positive difference to people’s lives in the county.

Cornish Lithium Community Fund launched to support local community projects


Cornish Lithium, the Penryn based eco-technology company, has launched a Community Fund to support the work of groups who seek to make a positive difference in the Gwennap, Chacewater, St Day, Carharrack and China Clay areas. In particular, the Cornish Lithium Community Fund encourages applications from groups enhancing skills and education, upgrading social welfare facilities, improve environmental impacts or promoting health and wellbeing.

Cornwall Community Foundation launches Welcome Fund to support refugees and asylum seekers in Cornwall


In response to the growing need, we have launched the CCF Welcome Fund to support refugees and asylum seekers moving to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly from Ukraine and other countries. We are appealing for funding support from individuals and businesses.

Cornwall’s most vibrant fundraising event is back supporting CCF!


The Cornwall Christmas Fair – the most vibrant fundraising event in the county’s festive calendar is back this year at the Eden Project on Thursday 24 November with a Preview & Shopping Evening on Wednesday 23 November. All funds raised will go to supporting our communities through the Cornwall Community Foundation.

Cornwall Community Foundation enjoys special visit from Patron at the Royal Cornwall Show


We were thrilled to be back at The Royal Cornwall Show this year! Spirits were high over the three days after having two years away and the show was made even more special after a surprise Royal visit to the Tregothnan stand from Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall, Cornwall Community Foundation’s Patron.

Police and Crime Commissioners Office creates additional fund round to tackle anti-social behaviour within the community


The Police and Crime Commissioner of Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly has opened another pot of funding to tackle anti-social behaviour across the county and we are delighted to once again manage the grant scheme. Interested organisations have until August 15 to apply for a grant between £1,000 and £5,000.

Goonhilly Wind Farm helps to kick start activities in the local area


Goonhilly Downs, the six turbines currently operating, not only provide clean electricity to the entire Lizard peninsula but also hold a community fund with CCF to benefit communities within the TR12 postcode. A panel comprising local members meet to consider applications and make sure the funds are used to kick start activities that will have a long term benefit to local residents. A recent panel saw £18,000 being awarded to six community groups and projects.

Cornish cream producer Roddas supports Cornwall Crisis Fund


The Crisis Fund benefits people who find themselves in crisis and urgently in need of small, one-off amounts of money. These small grants are distributed by local charities who work with people experiencing difficult circumstances. Thank you to Roddas for their generous donation to the Crisis Fund.
