We have launched a new appeal, to help people struggling with the rising cost-of-living crisis. The funds raised will provide grants to charities and community organisations who are facing increased demand due to the rising household costs, and continue to provide a vital lifeline to communities and individuals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Youth grant panel awards over £115,000 to groups focusing on the wellbeing of children, as part of HeadStart Kernow
Headstart Kernow, the children and young people’s mental health partnership programme with Cornwall Council has recently held a new round with the youth panel awarding grants totalling more than £115,000 to twenty projects as part of The Young People’s Mental Wellbeing Legacy Fund.

A large audience of twenty and thirty somethings, tech savvy of course, gathered expectantly at the Sink Inn, Newquay for an evening of conversation on ‘The Lockdown Decade’ with Jason Bradbury, UK technology spokesperson best known for his twelve year stint on TV’s The Gadget Show. Jason explored how post Lockdown technological innovation will grow exponentially at a pace not previously imagined.
Cornwall Community Foundation welcomed out of county supporters to Goldsmiths Hall after two years away
The CCF Cornwall Club welcomed guests to the annual London drinks reception at Goldsmiths Hall, to celebrate Cornwall. Speakers included Jo Davies, CEO of Wild Young Parents Project, who shone a light on the very real challenges families in Cornwall are facing due to the pandemic and the cost of living crisis, and how grants can make a lasting impact.

The Charles Reynolds Fund supports five community groups tackling generational poverty in Cornwall
Thank you to the generosity of Charles Reynolds, founder of The Charles Reynolds Foundation, a new fund was launched last year to support community groups tackling the effects of generational poverty. In its first round of grant awarding The Charles Reynolds Fund saw a total of £16,000 awarded to five community groups.
