We support local charities, community and voluntary groups and social enterprises in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The Charity Commission is also a great resource with more detailed information and guidance.

If you are considering setting up a Social Enterprise, this has lots of information and resources.

CCF grants are only available to organisations based within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. If you are from outside of this area, please check the UK Community Foundation Website to find local support.

Regional or national organisations working in Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly may be considered if they can demonstrate that they are the best organisation to tackle a particular issue or address a specific need and there is no local organisation able to do this.

We specialise in smaller grants so if you are looking for a grant over £5,000 we may not be the best option for you, although occasionally larger grants are available.

The grant amounts can be found on the summary page of each grant and these are not flexible.

You need to have three unrelated trustees or directors before you apply or be in the process of making this change.

If you are a registered charity this can be updated through the Charity Commission, other organisations can do this through their usual voting process and update their governing documents.

We need relevant bank details to pay your grant into. If you don’t yet have an account set up for your organisation, or an account you can use, most banks will set one up for you and talk you through the process.

We are regulated by the charity commission so we have to check all documentation before passing on grant funding.

If you are a new organisation you may not have annual accounts yet, just let us know that in your application.

Once we’ve checked all your documents we’ll hold them on file and don’t need to check them again for three years.

These are important documents, especially if you are working with children or vulnerable adults.
