Manor Solar Farm FundA sum of money made available for grant making, often with specific criteria/conditions. welcomes applications to support community projectsA piece of work that delivers an output. in the following Areas: Charlestown, Grampound & Creed, St Ewe, St Mewan, St Dennis, St Stephen in-Brannel, Sticker, Treverbyn & Central St Austell.
The objectives of Manor Solar Farm Fund are to:
- You must spend your grant on improving the sustainability and/or carbon footprint of your organisation or the community.
- Projects including an educational element will be looked upon favourably.
- Your project must be completed within one year of the grant offer unless agreed otherwise.
- You can apply for full cost recovery elements and core costsThe running costs of your organisation. This is the money you need to make your work happen. These are also called overheads, running costs or operating costs. such as room rental and salaries.

Grant requirements
To apply for a grant your organisation must meet the general Eligibility criteria. In addition to this, you must also meet the specific criteria of the grant listed below:
Who can apply:
- Charities, CICs and community and voluntary groups working in Cornwall or The Isles of Scilly
What it will support:
The fund will support projects:
- Improving the sustainability and/or carbon footprint of their organisation or the community.
- Projects including an educational element will be looked upon favourably.
Projects and gtoups must be based in one of the listed areas:
- Charlestown, Grampound & Creed, St Ewe, St Mewan, St Dennis, St Stephen in-Brannel, Sticker, Treverbyn & Central St Austell
- Projects or activities outside of the listed areas
- Commercial profit making organisations
- Organisations with significant free reserves
- Statutory/public sector organisations such as health authorities, schools, hospitals, parish and town councils
- Contributions to an endowment, payment of deficit funding or repayment of loans
- Grant making organisations or bodies who fundraise or distribute grants on behalf of other organisations
- Activities or projects which have already happened
- Regional offices of national bodies that do not benefit local people
- Organisations whose beneficiaries are not people
- Organisations or projects intended to influence people’s religious choices or to promote a particular belief system
- The promotion of political causes.
Managed by Low Carbon Manor Solar Farm is one of a number of projects for which they have set up a fund for the benefit of the local community. Low Carbon is a renewable energy company, committed to enabling the social change required to create a low carbon future for the UK. Investing in renewable energy power production as an alternative to fossil fuels, Low Carbon aims to offer its shareholders a safe preservation of capital invested in renewable and clean tech projects as well as providing stable returns to help achieve a true low carbon economy.
