Young Carers Fund
The Young Carers Fund aims to make a real difference to young carers.
A young carer is anyone aged under 18 years old, who helps to look after a relative or friend who has a disability, illness, mental health condition or substance abuse problem where these duties go beyond what would be expected for a person of their age. The funds are aimed at offering young carers the opportunity to be young people free from their caring responsibilities.
An application for a grant must be made by an organisation for the benefit of any young carer resident in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly who requires support.
