Guideline for larger charities applying to the Emergency Fund

We support large local charities with new projects and initiatives. We do not award grants to larger charities for core costs.

If your charity has substantial free reserves or surpluses, we expect the charity to utilise their own resources. We would consider applications for up to 50% of project cost in those circumstances in order to encourage new initiatives that benefit Cornish communities.

We will consider applications from national charities with annual income of no more than £1.5 million. This does not apply to locallly-based charities.
