Summer Party at Trewithen

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came along to our Summer Garden Party at Trewithen.

Sam Galsworthy, High Sheriff of Cornwall and Vice Chair of Cornwall Community Foundation, and Kitty Galsworthy were hugely generous to host what was a thought-provoking gathering.

It was delightful to see supporters, friends, associates, and a few well-behaved dogs guarding their territories and owners beautifully as we were fortunately drenched in sunshine for the occasion.

Sam Galsworthy spoke about his affiliation with the Foundation and various milestones we have reached in support of inspirational charities and people who are working hard to make Cornish communities a better place for all.

Sam also aired a sneak peek of a coming series of films which is being finalised with Bull & Wolf. Featuring funded projects making an enormous difference to people experiencing poverty and the impact of the cost of living and mental health crises. We look forward to sharing the finished films when they are released to help inspire change.

Evie, a Young & Talented Cornwall alumni played the violin beautifully and the locally sourced afternoon tea seemed to be enjoyed by all as a thank you for their support. What a wonderful day.
