What we funded
From a campfire lit by a young boy who rarely leaves home, to children discovering farming and wildlife for the first time — the projects supported by the Business Club Fund in 2025 touched lives in ways that statistics alone can’t capture.
Grants supported a wide range of causes: youth mental health and suicide prevention, outdoor education, accessible sport, food poverty, community resilience, and services for people living with dementia. Many of the organisations funded are small and volunteer-led, and for several, this grant made the difference between a project happening or not.
Where the money went
Grants reached communities across the length and breadth of Cornwall, ensuring that funding reached those furthest from services and support.
Projects included outdoor farm learning for nearly 280 primary school children, a five-day residential for young carers, woodland skills sessions for people with disabilities, weekly peer support and crisis services for young women, recipe box programmes tackling food poverty, and sustainable energy improvements for rural community buildings.
Why it matters
Across Cornwall, dedicated volunteers and community organisations are quietly changing lives, but small organisations with stretched budgets can’t always make vital projects happen alone. The Business Club Fund bridges that gap — connecting the generosity of local businesses with the people and places that need it most.
