Urgent: Crisis Appeal
Urgent: Crisis Appeal
The Crisis Appeal will support frontline organisations helping households in genuine need.
Providing support
where it is needed most
Our Crisis Appeal will offer financial support to the people most at risk in Cornwall, helping them to stay warm, active and healthy.
Cornwall’s reality
Cornwall is a place marked by stark contrasts: stunning landscapes and vibrant culture sit alongside rising poverty, limited access to services, and a cost-of-living crisis.

The impact of your donation
- £15 could provide an emergency care pack with essentials for someone in crisis.
- £150 could fund a day’s work by an outreach worker helping people out of a crisis situation.
- £1,000 could cover the utility bills for a hot-breakfast service for three months.
- £20,000 could contribute to a feasibility study for a community-led housing project, paving the way for 20 new homes.
“Providing people with access to vital services, including food and hygiene packs, means that service usersIndividuals being supported by the group or organisation applying for a grant. can access the food that they need to survive during the cost-of-living crisis. Without this, people would be choosing between feeding themselves and their families with healthy meals or paying their bills. With this food, that impossible and unfair choice is removed, freeing up people to be able to live, rather than just survive.”
