As a giving circle Cornwall Women’s Fund is harnessing the power of individuals to invest together and meet local need in our communities. As a network we share knowledge, understanding and the responsibility of deciding which organisations to support. Members have a say on the funding priorities each year and we host a number of events to netowkr and share knowledge and experience.
Invest – Investing in our local communities, we are joining together in giving money and time to support organisations working with women and girls.
Improve – We are building a movement to improve the lives of women and girls across Cornwall – their health, well being, education, opportunities and safety so they can lead a fulfilling and productive life.
Inspire – We will share our life lessons, our skills and ideas with each other and with women and girls across the county to widen horizons and inspire fulfilment.
Applications to our Community Fund are assessed by members of our Grants Team and presented to our Grants PanelA group of people who review grant applications and decide which will receive funding. who make the final decision. The Grants Panel meets regularly and is made up of independent, experienced individuals across the community including members of our Board of trustees.
Donations are pooled and the grant programme opens twice a year for applications. Applications are assessed by members of our Grants Team and presented to the CWF Grants Panel who make the final decision. The Grants Panel is made up of the founding members of CWF. Each year an impact report is shared detailing the projects supported and the impact they have made.
