Papillon Fund updates Launceston Camera Club’s equipment

Papillon Fund
With a £1,000 grant from the Papillon FundA sum of money made available for grant making, often with specific criteria/conditions. in 2023, Launceston Camera Club (LCC) purchased a Windows 11-capable laptop, so that the club can continue projecting digital images, a very important aspect of their meetings.
The laptop has been essential for almost every club meeting during the 2023–24 season, allowing members to enjoy a variety of photographic activities in a supportive environment.
Beyond the club, LCC contributes to the wider Launceston community, notably through its Heritage Weekend exhibition. Many of the printed photographs displayed originated as digital competition entries, showcasing members’ talent.
With up-to-date equipment, the club was able to invite two new judges from the Western Counties Photographic Federation, helping them gain experience and give back to the wider photographic community.
