The Trevalga, Tintagel and Boscastle Fund has been created by The Gerald Curgenven Will Trust to provide a sustainable source of funding to support grassroot community and voluntary groups and projects working to improve people’s lives in the Trevalga, Tintagel and Boscastle parishes.

Grant requirements

To apply for a grant your organisation must meet the general Eligibility Criteria. In addition to this, you must also meet the specific criteria of the grant listed below:

Who can apply:

Charities, social enterprises and community groups for group activities or projects for the benefit of people living in Trevalga, Tintagel and Boscastle parishes. To be eligible to apply your organisation must be based in and solely for the benefit of people in Trevalga, Tintagel and Boscastle.

What it will support:

  1. Community connections – programs that bring people together and strengthen local bonds
  2. Cultural and educational enrichment – activities that expand learning opportunities and cultural experiences
  3. Mental well-being enhancement – initiatives that support psychological health and wellness

Groups must be based in and solely for the benefit of people in Trevalga, Tintagel and Boscastle.

Projects to start from Mid October onwards. All funded projects must be completed within one year of receiving the grant.

  • Commercial profit-making organisations
  • Organisations with significant free reserves, contact us if you’re unsure
  • Statutory/public sector organisations such as health authorities, schools, hospitals, parish and town councils
  • Contributions to an endowment, payment of deficit funding or repayment of loans
  • Grant making organisations or bodies who fundraise or distribute grants on behalf of other organisations
  • Retrospective grants
  • Regional offices of national bodies that do not benefit local people
  • Organisations whose beneficiaries are not people
  • Organisations or projects intended to influence people’s religious choices or to promote a particular belief system (we support religious spaces that provide an inclusive community space)
  • The promotion of political causes
