Cornwall Women’s Fund host International Women’s Day event

On Thursday 7th March, Cornwall Women’s Fund held an event in partnership with Take Point Training to celebrate and inspire the Women of Cornwall for International Women’s Day. Our Development Director, Tamara Sherston-Baker, was delighted to be in attendance amongst so many other inspiring female figures.

To stimulate the conversation they were joined by an esteemed panel of speakers to give us their professional and personal perspectives on the 2024 theme of Inspiring Inclusion and Mental Health. The speakers included: Matthew Kenworthy Gomes; CEO of Cornwall Pride, Dr Mairi McLean, Chairwoman of Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust; and Councillor Kirstie Edwards, Mayor of Falmouth.
