East Langford Solar Farm Fund injects £29,125 into local communities
East Langford Solar Farm FundA sum of money made available for grant making, often with specific criteria/conditions. recently awarded £29,125 to four community projectsA piece of work that delivers an output. which focused on improving physical health, education and accessibility within the areas of Stratton, Kilkhampton, Launcells and Morwenstow. Among the four benefitting groups were Morwenstow Football Club who received a grant of £9,900 which will fund the installation of an outdoor fitness suite. The second group was Stratton Playgroup who were granted £1,475 to improve their outdoors experience, purchase a new laptop and large indoor rug. Launcells Skittles club required funding for some new equipment and were awarded a grant of £800.20. This will enable them to purchase new skittles, balls, wall padding and a new ball return tube. The final group to receive funding was Lamb Park Trust who received £16,950 which will be used to replace the current roundabout to enable level access for all users. The East Langford Solar Farm Fund have a keen focus on supporting community projects in the areas of Stratton, Kilkhampton, Launcells and Morwenstow who strive to improve educational elements of their organisation or are actively trying to reduce their carbon footprint.
