CCF’s Impact Report highlights the good communities are doing

Explore the amazing work happening in your communities, which could not be done without your support, in our latest Impact Report.

The report highlights the extraordinary difference our donors and supporters have made across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly last year. With a glance at our soon-to-be-released Vital Signs Report, stories from groups like The Peal Exchange, and an incredible breakdown of the impact that community groups have made, thanks to the support of CCF.

A record-breaking year for impact

2024 marked the highest grant-making year in the history of CCF, with £3.2 million awarded to impactful causes. This milestone, whilst celebrating our reach, also reflects the increasing demand across our communities as people continue to face significant challenges from ongoing cost-of-living pressures

With the help of funding from Cornwall Community Foundation:

10,751 people reported that the community facilities were improved

11 evictions were avoided

22,095 people reported a reduction of stress, anxiety and/or symptoms of depression

12,720 hectares of natural space was maintained or improved

2,774 new people participated in projects that promote creativity

4,482 people completed training

107 people reported increased confidence in keeping themselves safe

An exciting new strategy

This year we launched our ambitious community outreach strategy, completing 70 one-to-one support sessions and hosting drop-in sessions across the Duchy.  We’re proud that 21 new groups applied to CCF as a result.

In 2025, CCF is embarking on its most ambitious strategy yet, fostering thriving communities, preventing hardship, and rising to the critical challenges of our time through taking action on housing and climate resilience.

With a bold and must-win vision to make Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly a great place for everyone, CCF is committed to driving positive change, empowering grassroots organisations, and supporting philanthropy that builds stronger, more resilient communities.

Special thanks

We would like to thank Lucie Nottingham and the Tanner Phoenix Trust for their generous donation to support the publication of this report.
