National Emergencies Trust – additional Coronavirus funding for Cornwall

Alongside our Cornwall Emergency Coronavirus Appeal, we are delighted to be receiving funding from the National Emergencies Trust (NET).

To date, the NET Coronavirus Appeal has raised more than £80 million in donations from members of the public, major charitable trusts  and businesses.

The NET distributes the money through local community foundations, including Cornwall Community Foundation, and other charities  to get the resources to those most in need at a local level.  We are pleased to announce that NET has awarded Cornwall Community Foundation £388,000 to date to support people struggling with the effects of the Coronavirus crisis. We have awarded £280,000 of that funding  to frontline community groups in Cornwall  with the balance currently being processed.
