New funding opportunity: Single Homeless and Rough Sleeping Fund

Grants of £1,000–£10,000 are available for individual organisations, and up to £30,000 for partnership projects, with priority given to collaborative approaches.

This fund is intended to support targeted, place-based work with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, particularly those facing complex or multiple challenges.

We are particularly interested in organisations that are already supporting this population or working closely with partner agencies, and who are able to demonstrate how their work will contribute to prevention, recovery and long-term housing stability.

Smaller organisations are encouraged to apply

Smaller community organisations often play an important role in early support and local prevention, and we welcome focused applications from groups who are well connected to people at risk of homelessness in their area.

Partnership approaches are particularly encouraged. These might include, for example:

– A food bank working with a housing advice service to provide early intervention and advice

– A community hub hosting outreach sessions with housing or welfare advisers

– A clothing or practical support charity working alongside a day centre or shelter provider

– A mentoring or peer support organisation partnering with Citizens Advice or housing services

Projects should be clearly targeted at people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and demonstrate how the work will complement existing services in Cornwall.
