CCF House Party raises over £11,000 for Cornish Communities
Thanks to the incredible band Funk, Soul, Other (who gave their time and talents for free), guests were dancing until midnight – some never left the dance floor!
The annual CCF House Party, kindly hosted by St Moritz Hotel, was full of good food, company, and fun, with all proceeds going to the work of Cornwall Community Foundation.
To highlight the impact of grants on Cornwall’s communities, each table was named after a projectA piece of work that delivers an output. the Foundation has supported. Guests sat at the Trelya, Band of Brothers, and Scary Little Girls tables, among others. Scanning a QR code, they were able to read about each group and the impact they have achieved – with the help of funding from CCF.
Events like this bring together our community of supporters for a great night out, and a great cause. The money raised from the evening will go towards continuing the work of the Foundation, allowing us to distribute grants and lead and join the important conversations, helping us understand what is most needed in Cornwall and directing support to those areas.
If you would like to join our ‘Friends of the Foundation’ to support Cornwall’s communities, and come along to events like this in the future, please go to our Friends page.
